Using XIANGQI
You may play casual games as a guest. Rated play requires an account. You are responsible for lawful use and for activity through your account or guest session.
Fair play
Do not manipulate clients or protocols, automate play without permission, interfere with other games, evade rate limits, impersonate people, or exploit service vulnerabilities.
Server authority determines legal moves, clocks and final results. Automated integrity signals open review cases but do not independently suspend an account. Human-reviewed actions may include a warning, rated-play lock or suspension. You can see an action and submit an appeal from Profile.
Accounts and age
Guest play does not require registration. Rated play and cross-device history require the hosted sign-in flow. When you enter rated play, your chosen display name, rating, game count and aggregate win rate appear on the public leaderboard; your email does not. You must meet the minimum age required by applicable law and the identity provider; where required, a minor must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Availability and changes
The service may change or pause for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. Server-confirmed results, encrypted backups and recovery drills reduce data-loss risk but do not create a guaranteed service level unless a separate written agreement says so.
Content and conduct
Public chat, user-uploaded avatars, payments, prizes, and tournaments are not part of this MVP. Display names must remain lawful and non-abusive. Do not use hidden directional characters, slurs, threats, sexual content, or names that impersonate XIANGQI staff, another person, or a protected service. Signed-in users may report an account or guest nickname from the leaderboard, live games, game history, and replays. Reports tied to a game are limited to verified participants. Reports are reviewed by a person; a confirmed violation may result in a warning, replacement name, or suspension. Knowingly false or repeated abusive reports may themselves lead to account restrictions.
